These settings must be applied for "Inventory" products for TLE on new system. Do not do the below if the product is "Print On Demand"
STEP 1 (Enable Stock Management)
1.) Navigate to predefined products and search for the new product name.
2.) Click on Action > Edit. Under the "Configuration" right side box find "Enable Stock Management" and choose either "Only Size" if there are no options otherwise choose "Size with Product Option" (for example t-shirts with multiple size options). Choose the "with Product Option" when we are inventorying more than 1 item for the same product.
STEP 2 (Choose Backorder Allowed)
1.) Search for product click Action > then click on "Stock"2.) Click on the "Stock Setting" button.
3.) Toggle on the checkmark if you want to allow backorder on product (such as products we produce on in house equipment and domestic production). DO NOT click this for items we are importing from overseas (such as China goods).
STEP 3 (Add to "Picking" Status)
1.) Click on "Orders" on left sidebar and then click on "Order Status"
2.) Click on "Order Product Status" tab then search for "Picking" productwise status.
3.) Clic
k on Action > Edit.
4.) In "Select Production" > Unassigned Product, search for the product name. Then click on the product to highlight product and click the SINGLE arrow to move selected product(s) to "Assigned Product".
NOTE: If the product doesn't show up then remove the (parentheses) after product name and then it will appear.
5.) Click Save or Save and Back to confirm adding product(s) to picking product status.
6.) Now this product's first status will be "Picking" and skip the pre-flight workflow since we have inventory in stock on the floor.
