Please follow these steps to setup your vonage/freshdesk integration so you can make tickets using the vonage system and call recordings will become accessible.


Note: At the current moment, vonage requires that you login every morning to ensure the token is accepted by the API. They are working on changing this sometime this year so you will only need to login once and your browser kept open.


Click on your profile icon on the upper right corner of freshdesk and click "Profile Settings"

Now you will enter your extension code so vonage can recognize you. This is a one time setting change.

Next you will activate the telephony module found on the freshdesk toolbar (Lower Left, Icon with CDC). Remember until vonage updates this later in the year, you will have to login every morning if you shut your machine down for the night or leave it idle for more than 60 min.

Next you will click "Enable Telephony" this will open a new window and take you vonage business webpage where you will you use your vonage username and password. And you will be set.
